G2 - Grape trailer with elliptical rotor pump
Ideal for transporting grapes, driven by the tractor shaft or an electric gear motor, it offers the advantage of direct discharge into the crusher-destemmer or press, thus avoiding additional passages in the tank. It can also be used in the agri-food sector for semi-solid products such as fruit, citrus fruits and olives.
The grapes are unloaded using a patented elliptical rotor pump, driven by a screw conveyor located at the bottom of the container, which acts by pressure, not centrifugal force.
The double chamber allows the free passage of whole grapes without any bottlenecks or sudden reduction, thus avoiding cutting and crushing the stems.
The low rotor speed (45/57 rpm) prevents shaking and crushing the grape skins and tubers, allowing the pump to transfer the grapes smoothly.
For the transport of mechanically harvested grapes, we can supply a hydraulically operated grape trailer with a hermetically sealed lid. This allows transport without loss of product.
The trailer, made with a tank and frame entirely in AISI 304L stainless steel, is suitable for contact with food and is available in different volumes: 3, 4, 40 and 6 m3, larger volumes are available on request.
Removable reducing flange for easy maintenance, which allows the auger to be dismantled from both sides.
